Sanctuary on Ridge, 1638 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY, is a wedding and event venue that offers historic charm with modern flexibility for intimate weddings and celebrations.  The Chapel, that was formerly a Presbyterian Church, has soaring ceilings, natural mahogany pews, and beautiful stained-glass windows. Sanctuary Hall stands out with vaulted white ceilings and elegant chandeliers that can be dimmed to set the mood. The two distinct spaces allow for having both the ceremony and reception in one location, just steps apart.  The reception hall can hold around 100 guests while The Chapel can accommodate 115.

Sanctuary on Ridge is owned by Kari and Josh Kuhn. Rather than a traditional full-service venue, Sanctuary offers more of an elevated “venue-only” or Airbnb-style experience — giving couples the flexibility to make the space their own while still enjoying thoughtful support. Our wedding package is uniquely designed to provide access to the venue for the full weekend, allowing ample time for decorating, rehearsal, celebration, and cleanup without feeling rushed. We also provide on-site wedding coordination to support the flow of your event. Amenities include access to a private bridal suite, a sound system, piano/organ, and tables and chairs, offering a beautiful foundation for couples to customize their celebration.
