• Successful ribbon cuttings being held (Ontario Counseling, Shamrock Gals, Bear Creek
Bloom) Roc Drift was business of the month and photos will be uploaded soon.
• Marketing & Communications – Sylvia
• Dan has taken over the work, all the pictures and sharing for social media.
• Dan will assume the role of Chair going forward.
• Online Technology – Susan & Donna – Website now live, social media moving along well.
• Thanks for all the great pictures and videos from Christine and Dan for our social media.
• Events have been created for upcoming ribbon cuttings and the craft show.
• Fundraising – Sherry & Brian & Christine
• Craft Show – Setup Nov. 14 – Show Nov. 15
• 69 spots and possibly 70 – sold out, no waiting list.• Need kids and other volunteers for the event (6 on Friday and Saturday)
• Christine to help with volunteers
• Golf carts are confirmed
• Terry’s Tips & Beef is confirmed. No coffee, but Sherry to follow up with other vendors.
• Membership Outreach/Updates– Encompass Payroll Solutions, Canandaigua National, Paychex,
and K’s Catering have joined the chamber via new website application
• Community – Christmas Tree Lighting – December 3, 2025 – Ontario Chamber serving hot
chocolate at Masonic Lodge, 1932 Ridge Rd – Susan/Brian Tripp & Sherry Verstraete are
volunteering at the lodge.
OLD BUSINESS:
• Review Chamber Banquet held on September 18, 2025
o Approx. $2500 was generated for the chamber
o Discussed moving the location for next year.
NEW BUSINESS
• ·Networking event - presentation regarding Human Resources from chamber members.
o Discussed the meeting date, November 12th was chosen – 5-6:30PM
o Dave Cascino from Encompass Employee Management spoke about his company.
Online training, benefits services, time keeping, employee onboarding
Client base goes from 1-1000+ employees
Rochester office is on Linden Oaks in Penfield
o Peter Gavenda from Paychex spoke about his company.
Local, Ontario resident
Hiring process (co-pilot program), retirement program, benefits, etc.
Client base goes from 1-99 employees.

Informational Sharing
• Sherry will follow up with Bill R on the status of the customized shirts
• Brochures will be printed and ready for the craft show
• When the new food pantry opens it was suggested we do ribbon cutting.
